• 9/26/22 Technician started vehicle at cold start and heard timing chain rattle upon start for approximate 10 seconds until it built up oil pressure. Technician performed computer diagnostics and found DTC P001177 The position of the intake camshaft (cylinder bank 1) deviates from the specified value. The commanded position cannot be reached. Technician found a TSB (Technical Support Bulletin) Reference Number: LI05.10-P-056435 For timing chain tensioner updates on left and right banks as well as installation of check valves in the oil supply bores of each timing chain tensioner. Technician recommends replacing all components found on the TSB as well as inspecting timing components after tear down for further diagnostics.
